1. Don't let your content suck!

The same old stuff! You all know what I mean..........

Just keep in mind that CONTENT IS THE KING! Your blog isn't a blog if it lacks worthy content!

Your content should have something that your audience can't resist sharing.

You might have read that "If your content sucks, so will your traffic!" But I would say that "If your content sucks, so will your social engagement!"

To conclude this point, I would say that write something that is WORTH SHARING!

2. Make your content easy to share

Where would your audience go if your blog doesn't have buttons for sharing on Facebook, Twittter etc?

Sometimes your readers would change their mind if those buttons are absent!

You would surely regret that, won't you?

I won't stretch this point for more. You should get those social buttons on your blog. They remind your audience to share your content and also make the content shareable with just a click!

3. Share it yourself

You can't force your readers make the content go viral. You need to do a bit as well!

Make sure that every post you write is shared on each and every social network you're a member of! Your followers on social media should stay updated with your latest updates!

That is the reason why they followed you, right?

4. Be everywhere

If you are a Facebook user, you can't just expect massive traffic from over there itself, there are many potential users out there, on other networks!

Each and every problogger promotes his/her posts on each and every popular social network!

However, that doesn't mean that sharing on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and LinkedIn would make your day!

There are many other networks, with a better traffic potential, like Pintrest and StumbleUpon.

I still remember once Jon Morrow mentioned that he got massive traffic from StumbleUpon.

You should never underestimate the power of social media!

5. Use Social Exchange

There are websites like JustRetweet and Triberr that help increase the reach of our blog posts, by giving a share for a share or something like that!

The method is advantageous as you sometimes get shares from the pros.

6. Link to ProBloggers

This point might raise a question in your mind.

Hey Yashraj, how can linking to pros benefit me?

The answer to this is very simple.

Take this post as an example. I linked to Rahul Kuntala and Jon Morrow over here. He would surely receive a trackback if using WordPress. But if I inform him via email that I have mentioned their articles with a dofollow backlink and ask for a share in return, how can they refuse? A share won't cost anything to them.

I got this concept clearly when I read Divyansh Peswani's post. You might want to have a look at it too.

We all know that shares from pros can bring in massive traffic! I can see the smile on your face now!

7. Share other people's content

You can't expect a one way flow of shares. You must share other people's content too!

By this point, I don't mean to say that you should keep on sharing the posts of the probloggers only. Share the posts of the new guys as well. They are most likely to return the favor.

Don't forget to notify the bloggers that their content has been shared around. Also, ask for a titsy-bitsy endorsement.

8. Give a call to action

What motivates you more to share a blog post - the content or the final words?

You might say the content, but actually the final words of your blog post motivate you more.

If you have been a keen observer of my writing style, you might be knowing that I ask my readers to comment my blog post in a certain way, which is termed as "call to action".

Well recently I came across this trick and I was amazed to see many top bloggers using it to get tweets and G+ ones. So as usual I always share the tricks I find helpful and this time it�s the Trick to get high number of Google +1 and tweets to your posts.

Simple Steps to Get High Number of Google +1 and tweets:

• Firstly, all you have to do is signup at JustRetweet and set up your profile accordingly. It�s a site same as AddMeFast, but it�s basically used by bloggers and other online IM experts to promote their business, with everything real here unlike AddMeFast where people use fake ID�s to collect points.

• Before promoting your posts, you have to collect some points. So to collect points go to Dashboard. You will now see a list of twitter posts shared by other bloggers and members of the site. Its upto you now, on how you collect points. You can Facebook Like, Google +1 or retweet their posts and collect points. If you want to be in your niche, you can select your category from the categories list. It�s really easy to collect 5000 points in 10 minutes.  This way you are not only just collecting points to set up your own shares but you are also promoting other blog posts which is a good aspect of blogging.

• Once you have enough points (atleast 1000) you can setup your own share. Go to Submit Tweet link and type the tweet you want to be shared/ReTweeted(RT) including your post link (Use HASHTAGS for more exposure). • Your tweet will be ReTweeted by many of the top bloggers with a large number of followers which simply gives a lot of exposure of your blog to other�s in your niche.

• Your social sharing buttons/Plugins will show high numbers which will make your post look worthy.

•  You will get targeted traffic to your posts.

• It will help you build relationships with some top bloggers.

So this was a simple little trick which many TOP bloggers use. I have seen Harleena Mam of AhaNow, Zac Johnson, Nirmala Mam, BlogEngage and many other top bloggers using Justretweet and I have got many ReTweets from them as well. Are you still confused about the advantages of it?

There you will find a list of top 100 people on twitter with highest number of followers, now you can move on and see other people as well but I like to stick to the top guns.

2. Select 10 people that you want to target, or in other words 10 people that you want to follow. (Like I follow top 10 guys, While sometimes I go to lower down the list and find people with 20-30k followers and so on). For time being to get started just start with top 10.

3. Open 10 tabs and in each tab you must have each profile open, so tab 1 = profile 1, tab 2 = profile 2, and so on. So you have 10 tabs with 10 twitter profiles

4. Now follow all of them, one by one follow all the 10.

5. Now here is the TRICK, every time you follow someone your name comes on top of their list of followers, so anyone who is following them will follow you, anyone who is following their followers will follow you first, anyone checking their profile will check your profile, anyone that sees their tweets see yours first, so if you have 10 profiles and you keep following and unfollowing them every 5 minutes you will have 100-200 people following you.

How this works?
Basically top 10 twitter guys get 1000s of followers every hour, and when people follow them they check their followers so if you are on top of their list they follow you as well. Or if anyone else is using bot to follow the followers of these top 10 you will be the first one they will follow.
This is a bug and it works all the time. I have 30 profiles open and I just follow them and after 5 minutes I unfollow all of them, I do this for few hours a day and then I get 500 followers.

In just few days I got 2000 followers on one of my profiles by doing this.

I did get fed up so I made a macro with JitBit, so now I have 50 tabs on my Virtual Machine and I am following and unfollowing these guys every 5 minutes.
